Feb. 3, 2021 – Did you know that Gainesville and Jacksonville use a joint UF Health Epic electronic medical record system? Epic users: You can see all of your patients’ Epic records created at both UF Health in Jacksonville and Gainesville from each location. For example, you can use Epic in Gainesville to view your patient’s test results and clinic visit notes from their UF Health provider in Jacksonville. This helps us all be efficient and avoid duplication of effort. And it signals to patients that we are acting as a coordinated system.
