Communications Specialist, College of Medicine

Tarryn Nichols joined the UF Health Communications team in the spring of 2026, shortly after graduating from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in journalism. She covers stories regarding patient care, research and education for the College of Medicine’s publications. Before stepping into the role of communications specialist, Tarryn produced and edited content for GATOR Magazine, Atrium Magazine and the Florida Student News Watch. She is an Ocala native who lives with her rescued Australian Shepherd, Aki.
