Lauren Williams joined the UF College of Medicine communications team in May 2023 as a summer communications intern. She assists the team in producing content for various college websites, publications and social media channels, designing social graphics and participating in event coverage. Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Lauren is a second-year student studying public relations and public health at the University of Florida. Prior to joining the UF College of Medicine, she worked as an intern for the UF Center for Humanities and the Public Sphere, where she oversaw the Center’s social media platforms, moderated Zoom events and managed off-campus events. Lauren is also a student assistant for the UF College of Journalism and Communications and a reporter for WUFT News.
