The 24th annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education Reception was held April 2

April 3, 2024 — In a testament to dedication and quality in medical education, the University of Florida College of Medicine held the 24th annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education Reception April 2. The evening ceremony saw educators and trainees from the college’s Gainesville and Jacksonville campuses gather and cheer each other on as outstanding residents, Society of Teaching Scholars inductees and more were recognized.

Danielle Ivanov joined the UF Health Communications staff in January 2022 as communications specialist for the College of Medicine. She manages the college’s social media, among other writing and communications responsibilities for its many publications. She was raised in Chicago and Gainesville before attending the University of Florida and earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in environmental science in 2021.
