UF Medicine faculty and staff honored with 2024 UF Superior Accomplishment Awards

Feb. 19, 2024 — Twenty-one faculty and staff members from the UF College of Medicine have been named divisional recipients of the 2024 UF Superior Accomplishment Awards.
The program annually recognizes faculty and staff who have contributed outstanding service, demonstrated efficiency or economy in their work or created an impact on quality of life for students and employees. Each winner was nominated by supervisors, peers or customers, with outstanding letters of support submitted on their behalf.
This year, the awards recognized individuals in the categories of employee performance, sustained excellence and as rookies of the year — employees who have successfully passed their probationary period and have excelled in their roles while at UF for less than two years. Additionally, teams who worked together to accomplish great things for the institution were recognized with team collaboration awards.
College of Medicine recipients belong to either Division 2, which includes UF Health Shands Hospital, or Division 5, which represents the UF Academic Health Center, and will be recognized during an awards ceremony Monday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the event will be streamed live and recorded.
Divisional winners will receive $200 in cash awards and will be considered for university-level cash awards of $1,000 or $2,000.
