Nov. 22, 2023 – In a Nov. 16 ceremony held at the Health Professions, Nursing & Pharmacy auditorium, faculty from UF’s six health colleges were honored with special gifts during the annual Celebrating Distinction ceremony.

At the event, 16 of the College of Medicine’s most accomplished faculty members were formally recognized as endowed chairs and professors, receiving specially engraved chairs as a symbol of their dedication to medical education, research and leadership. The College of Medicine had the greatest number of endowed chairs and professors being recognized at the ceremony this year.
