UF College of Medicine celebrates third annual Gratitude Day
Students, faculty and staff celebrated colleagues by gifting them chocolates
Nov. 1, 2023 – The UF College of Medicine celebrated its third annual Gratitude Day on Oct. 25, an initiative where faculty, staff, learners and trainees were invited to pick up an alligator-shaped chocolate and gift it to a colleague as a sign of appreciation. With a community as sweet as its chocolate, the College of Medicine commemorated this gracious sentiment as they attached notes of thanks to their fellow Gators and snapped photos along the way.
“We wanted to express our gratitude to Dr. Collins, Mr. Gorske, and Dr. Madani on behalf of the students and the Office of Student Affairs staff. They have been a constant source of support and guidance for the students, are always willing to listen and offer advice and inspire the team to give their best in assisting the students,” said Jessica Franco, administrative assistant I.
We are grateful for Marianne’s kind way with her patients. She goes above and beyond to make sure they understand their care plans,” said Carol Ellis, manager of ACU Clinic IV.
