College of Medicine faculty and staff recognized in 2021-22 UF Superior Accomplishment Awards
Fourteen College of Medicine faculty and staff have won 2021-22 UF Division 5 Superior Accomplishment awards.
Feb. 14, 2022 — Fourteen College of Medicine faculty and staff have made the University of Florida’s 2021-22 Superior Accomplishment Awards winners list for Division 5, which encompasses the university’s six health colleges. The awards program recognizes faculty and staff who have shown efficiency or economy in their work, contributed outstanding and meritorious service or improved the quality of life provided to students and employees. This year marks the 33rd annual celebration.
“I want to congratulate the Superior Accomplishment Award recipients from the College of Medicine,” said Dean Colleen Koch, M.D., M.S., M.B.A. “They represent an exceptional community of faculty and staff and certainly deserve recognition for their positive contributions to the College of Medicine workplace.”
Each winner was nominated by supervisors, peers or customers who wrote glowing letters of recommendation on their behalf. They will receive cash awards of $200 each along with a framed certificate and commemorative coffee mug. They will also be considered for university-level awards, which offer $1,000 and $2,000 cash prizes, and invited to a celebratory luncheon to be held on April 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton UF Conference Center.
