Sept. 29, 2017 — When 1960 graduate and retired pediatrician Dr. Jean Bennett joined the Legacy Challenge, little did she know she’d create a lasting bond with a future Gator physician. Thanks to Dr. Bennett’s scholarship, second-year UF med student Jane Harrell not only receives financial support but has also found a lifelong mentor.
