May 11, 2017 — The UF College of Medicine recently announced 40 faculty members have been appointed to term professorships for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Each appointment lasts for three years and provides an annual salary supplement of $5,000. The positions are available to tenure track assistant, associate and full professors who have at least five years of service at UF.
“The success of the UF College of Medicine results from the efforts of our faculty, and I am pleased the university has this new opportunity to further recognize and reward their achievements,” said Dr. Michael L. Good, dean of the UF College of Medicine. “I congratulate our faculty who received this year’s term professorship awards, and I encourage others to consider their nominations for the next two years.”
Nominations for 2017-2018 term professorships will accepted later this summer according to officials. Further information will be forthcoming.
