Attend a UF Health Bridge training session

We’re happy to introduce a fantastic tool that connects each of us to what matters at UF Health — our integrated intranet, the UF Health Bridge (bridge.UFHealth.org). Major functions such as group collaboration, resources library, dynamic internal websites and system-wide communications are all features of the Bridge, with social elements woven throughout the site.

On Jan. 12, the Bridge replaced the ShandsConnect Portal homepage. ShandsConnect content is available via the Bridge.

UF Health Web Services is offering a “guided tour” for Bridge to introduce faculty and staff to the new portal. This will be a town-hall style with questions and answers. Seating is not limited and registration isn’t required.

Additionally, UF Health Web Services is offering a handful of in-depth “How-To” sessions to provide hands-on exposure to major Bridge concepts.

Seating is limited to 20 participants for each session — participants will need to log onto myTraining and register. Use the search tool on mytraining.UFHealth.org to find the “Bridge Training – Intranet” course. Use keywords like “bridge,” portal,” or “intranet.”

The schedule is as follows:

UF Health Communications is bringing the training to your area! Starting Friday, Jan. 30, UF Health Communications will host a series of “pop-ups” at several UF Health Gainesville facilities where UF Health faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by and explore the Bridge. We’ll have giveaways and handouts and answer your Bridge questions. A detailed schedule will be posted on Shands News and shared with all staff.
