The University of Florida Institute on Aging will present its fifth annual Spotlight on Aging Research with presentations by UF Health researchers about the ways in which aging research translates into health care for older adults.
The event, which will take place Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. in the Clinical and Translational Research Building lobby, will include dozens of poster presentations about current research investigating geriatric care. UF Health cognitive neuroscientist Adam Woods, Ph.D., will discuss battling cognitive aging with noninvasive brain stimulation.
The event will also feature presentations about integrating research and education to help advance the institute’s focus on advancing geriatric care.
