Center for Arts in Medicine to host class for Parkinson's patients

The UF Center for Arts in Medicine will host a free movement class for Parkinson’s patients and their family, friends and caregivers Saturday, May 31.

The class, which will take place from 2-3:15 p.m. followed by a community discussion, will be led by David Leventhal of the Mark Morris Dance Group and will include live musical accompaniment.

This event is offered at the UF McGuire Theatre and Dance Pavilion room G-6 as part of Dance for PD®, which aims to use dance to help strengthen muscles and improve movement and balance in those with Parkinson’s disease.
