Insight into medical philanthropy

Development in the higher education setting has always been crucial to an institution’s success. Now more than ever, institutions rely on development to advance its education and research programs in hopes of competing for the best and brightest student population.

There are many individuals within a university that affect the success of development programs. The College of Medicine’s development and alumni affairs office invites medical deans, department heads, medical researchers, physicians, and medical administrators to an upcoming fundraising workshop, Insight Into Medical Philanthropy.

Attendees will gain an understanding of philanthropy, donor motivation, grateful patient concepts and the donor development process. The workshop will directly address physicians’ concerns and clarifies the appropriate role of medical professionals in donor engagement.

Play an active role in UF’s success by attending one of the two complimentary seminars listed below. Please RSVP by Friday, May 1 to Sandy Pulcini at 352-273-5885 or pulcini@ufl.edu. Seating for the complimentary workshops is limited.
