Since its dedication on April 6, 2002, the Thomas H. Maren Medical Student Reading Room, located in the Communicore building, has served its original purpose: a place for students to rest, relax and read non-medical books or watch videos and enjoy art and music. The College of Medicine held the 2009 Maren Room Rededication on March 4. The ceremony featured musical performances and poetry readings by students and faculty.
