UF COM lecture Friday helps celebrate Humanism Solidarity Day

Friday, Feb. 11, is a special day for the College of Medicine. UF will join with dozens of other medical schools in the country in support the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s International Humanism Solidarity Day. Third-year medical student Saad Mir will present “The Human Theater: Visual Empowerment of the First-Person Narrative,” beginning at noon in C1-17 of the Communicore.

Mir’s presentation is intended to promote humanistic, caring and compassionate medical practice and is organized by the Chapman chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. A limited number of lunches will be available for the first arrivals.
