Speaking about her life experiences working in the medical field and in academia, UF’s first lady Chris Machen lead a conversation with members of the Association for Academic Women this week. The Sept. 13 event kicked off the group’s 2010-2011 year. Led by Rebecca Pauly, M.D., the AAW fosters the careers and personal growth of UF women in all faculty and administrative roles and other professional positions.
