UF medical students to hold inaugural Project Haiti 5K Aug. 28 to benefit international medical outreach program

Students, faculty and staff of UF’s College of Medicine and Shands at UF will hold the first annual Project Haiti 5K to show they have not forgotten about the people of Haiti since the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Port-au-Prince in January.

The run, to be held Saturday, August 28 at 8 a.m. will benefit Project Haiti, an international medical outreach program organized by UF medical students.
