Neuro Noons 2008! Inspiring collaboration across the university

Don’t miss Neuro Noons: From Genes to Brain to Nerve to Muscle to Behavior and Back this summer

Don’t miss Neuro Noons: From Genes to Brain to Nerve to Muscle to Behavior and Back this summer every Thursday in the HPNP building room G-114. The series, sponsored by the department of physical therapy in the College of Public Health and Health Professions, will run from June 12 to Aug. 7 and is designed to facilitate interchange, understanding and collaboration among UF laboratories investigating different aspects of neuro-muscular plasticity.

It also will include pizza for all participants.

Graduate students and post-docs are wanted to present 20-minute talks on their research, and scientists in all roles — from undergraduates to faculty to laboratory technicians are asked to come listen and participate in interactive discussions.

Students and faculty from across the university are invited to participate. Those from the department of neuroscience, the McKnight Brain Institute, the Powell Gene Therapy Center and the Institute on Aging are especially encouraged to attend the Thursday discussions.
